These terms cover your use of guttercleaningpdx.com (the site) and the relationship between you and USA Gutter, Window, & Roof Cleaning (USA Gutter, Window, & Roof Cleaning). Plain language, no surprises.

Using the website

The site is provided for general information about our services. The content is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the dates published on each page, but maintenance practices, regulations, and pricing change. We update content periodically; the published "last updated" date on each page reflects the most recent revision.

You may share, link to, and quote our content for personal, non-commercial use with attribution. You may not republish entire pages or use our content in commercial marketing without written permission.

Quotes and estimates

Any quote we provide — whether by phone, text, email, or in person — is a good-faith estimate based on the information given to us. If conditions on-site differ materially from what we were told (severely clogged gutters, undisclosed roof damage, an additional story not mentioned), we will pause and discuss any change in scope or price with you before proceeding. We do not perform additional work or charge additional fees without your authorization.

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.

Work performance

We perform exterior maintenance work as described in our written quote, using methods appropriate to the property (hand-cleaning, soft-wash, pressure-washing where appropriate). We do not use high-pressure water on shingles, cedar shake, painted siding, or other surfaces it would damage.

We carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance. A certificate of insurance is available on request before any work begins.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of work unless a separate written agreement (such as a Home Exterior Care Plan or a commercial account) states otherwise. We accept cash, check, all major credit cards, Venmo, and Zelle. Late accounts past 30 days may be assessed a 1.5% monthly service charge.

Guarantee + service callbacks

We stand behind our work. If you believe a job was not done correctly — clogged gutters within 30 days, moss returning within the contracted treatment window, lights failing during the lit season — call us. We will return at no charge to correct the issue.

This guarantee does not cover damage caused by external events (storms, falling tree limbs, freezing, vandalism) or by other contractors working on the property after we leave.

Property access + safety

By scheduling work, you authorize us to be on the property to perform the agreed-upon services. We require unobstructed access to gutters, downspouts, roof surfaces, and exterior walls. Locked gates, large dogs, or other access barriers must be addressed before the visit; if a crew arrives and cannot safely complete work, a trip charge may apply.

For safety reasons, we will not work on roof surfaces during active rain, lightning, snow, ice conditions, or sustained winds above approximately 25 mph. If weather forces a reschedule, we will contact you to find the next available date at no charge.

Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule a one-time service without charge if you notify us at least 24 hours before the appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a small trip charge if a crew was already dispatched.

Recurring service plans (the Home Exterior Care Plan) may be cancelled with 30 days notice, and we will refund any pro-rated unused portion.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by Oregon law, our total liability for any claim related to a particular job is limited to the amount paid for that job. We carry commercial general liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance for incidents on the property; a certificate of insurance is available on request.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Disputes will be handled in Oregon courts unless both parties agree to mediation or arbitration.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we will update the "last updated" date above and post a notice on the homepage for 30 days. Continued use of the site or our services after a change indicates agreement to the new terms.
