USA Gutter, Window, & Roof Cleaning (we / us / our) is a Portland-metro family-owned exterior home maintenance business. This policy describes what information we collect when you use guttercleaningpdx.com, how we use it, and what choices you have.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out our quote form or call us, we collect what you provide: name, phone number, email address, service address, the type of work you're asking about, and any notes about the property. We use this only to contact you about your request and provide service.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect basic analytics about how visitors use the site. This includes pages visited, approximate location (city / region, not exact address), device and browser type, and the site that referred you. We use privacy-focused page analytics (Umami on bixmv.com) to see which pages people land on and where traffic comes from, including campaign links in the URL. We may also use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity when configured. These tools anonymize IP addresses and do not identify individual visitors.

Cookies

Our analytics tools place small files (cookies) on your browser to count return visits and measure how long people spend reading a page. These do not contain personal information. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without breaking the site.

How we use information

To respond to quote requests and schedule work.
To send job-confirmation messages, before-and-after photos, and follow-up communications about completed work.
To improve the website (which pages are useful, which are confusing).
To send seasonal maintenance reminders to existing customers, but only if you ask us to.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with marketers, lead aggregators, or third parties beyond the service providers listed below.

Third-party service providers

We use a small number of vendors to run the business:

Google Analytics 4 — anonymous traffic measurement.
Microsoft Clarity — anonymous session recording for UX improvement (no personal information captured by default).
Formspree — receives quote-form submissions and forwards them to us by email.
Cloudflare — hosts the website and provides DDoS / bot protection.
Our CRM tool (Jobber, Housecall Pro, or similar) once selected — used to schedule jobs and store customer history.

Each of these is bound by their own privacy policies. We pick vendors that take privacy seriously.

How long we keep your information

We keep quote-request information for as long as we're actively talking with you. If you don't end up hiring us, we delete the request after 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep service history indefinitely so we can answer questions about past work — you can ask us to delete it at any time and we will (with the exception of tax-related records we're legally required to retain).

Your choices

Access: ask us what information we have on you and we will tell you.
Correction: ask us to fix anything that is wrong.
Deletion: ask us to delete what we have. We will, except for what tax or legal rules require us to keep.
Opt-out of analytics: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or disable cookies in your browser.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially, we will update the "last updated" date above and post a notice on the homepage for 30 days.
